Introduction
Imagine if we know our date of death, how our lives will look like? how we will live, will we feel the same feeling to our daily lives as right now? how will we react and do our actions???
With the reality of not knowing our date of death, each one of us live the life as it is.
The beliefs of people put some limitation for their daily action, the decisions they will make.
A believer of the afterlife or judgement day, doesn’t think about life as the same person who don’t believe! But all of us, share the same feeling that we want to enjoy life, just the differ our limitation and how we can enjoy it, knowing the date of death can really suck the living out of life, can make it feel meaningless and dry, even if it was after 30, 40, 60 years, whatever the amount is, it is just not the same, you will know no matter how money you will make, or the fruits of life you can get, there will come a time, where all of it will vanish.
So I will write this hypothetical article, with making a category of ‘3’ groups of people.
- Believers of after life and judgement day
- People with major disabilities
- Non-believers
- Believers of afterlife and judgement day:
Let’s assume that they all believe that on the judgement day they will be judged based on the actions they have done throughout the entire journey of life and the way that they will die, have a big impact and representation for the aftermath.
Basically these people will start doing more religious stuff and good in their life than they ever did and could. They will look at life as a short timeline that will end very soon, on the last day, they will dedicate the day only for praying, nothing else.
But there is another case scenario for this, right now assuming that sins can be repent, these people will spend the majority of their life, and by majority I can say every day of it, except the last day, doing all kind of sins, whatever you can imagine or please their desire and satisfaction, and on the last day, they will all become saints, worshiping and asking for forgiveness.
- People with major disabilities:
These people will look at the blessing they had lost or being a disabled person in another way, it can smooth the impact of the disability and make it less heavy, they will not think of it in a major negative quality or in disasters case, they will decide to enjoy life more and just forget about any negative idea or action that may occur to them, but also knowing that, there could be a feeling of sadness based on, that I will only live for this amount of time, why I cant enjoy it like others? So it will go both ways at the same time
- Non-believers:
They will separate into two groups:
- Non believer but a good person
- Non believer but a bad person
The (a) part will remain good for the rest of his/her life with no significant change but, if and only if, something really bad happen to them or a person inflecting pain, hurting them, or interfering with their family members, here they could release a bigger anger on getting their revenge without considering any consequences.
The (b) part will live his/her life as usually with being uncountable or acknowledgeable of his/her own actions within a way that it will not affect them badly, but on that last day of his/her life, they will turn into monsters with doing all kind of evil that no matter how much harm or damage it can be done, since they are already a bad person and there no judgement to be made and this the last day on this life.
Conclusion
Honestly it is a big blessing that the date of death is unknown, it gives a meaning to our lives and plant ambitions for our future, but also for the believers group, it is a test for them, to remain good because they never know when their time is up.
