I will write this hypothesis, about how a day or days would look like without phone, into a collection of three points from the major outcomes that can happen.
1-No phone! What could happen if you travel far away?
If there’s no phone and you travel, then there’s no existing person except whom you are traveling with, if you are! Will know where are you? What are you doing? And even if a major incident happens, no body from your close family or friends will know about it or can help you, will you enjoy the city more? Most probably. Will the people who loves you be worried more? Most definitely. Is there a possibility that you will travel just for fun or vacation? A very low percentage since it can become very dangerous and you will probably get lost in the new city or country since there’s no GPS.
2-How would a regular day would look like? It will become much more randomly, the people you usually connect with to meet and have a drink, you will only be able to see them by coincidence, a more realistic view to the world would appear since there’s no possible way to see other things that are not connected with your surroundings, a death of a friend or an engagement, wedding, any serious event, can only be known within a respectable period of time, not instant! You can be more afraid and worried about the people whom you love, since you can’t reach out to them. If a son stays late at night and it’s unusual, then the father will be more close to paranoid about his son condition. If he’s safe or if something bad happened to him,,etc.
3-This will probably become more as the beneficial part, since people will be without a phone and many will be alone, so I truly believe that many strangers will start communicating with each other so they pass the boring time, many friends could be made and people will start really know each other, the moments we share it on social media will only be remembered by heart so it can easily after a long time, lose interest or nearly forgotten, but by that we will always look out to make new memories and make meaning to our day. So a day or days without phone actually not that easy, it can be dangerous and put geographical limitations to our day but also comes with loads of benefits.
